About Us

We Don’t Just Shelter Children

We Raise Citizens With Dignity.

Balyam Children Home was founded in 2015 with just 7 children and a belief — that no child should suffer for losing a family. Today, we care for 44 orphaned and semi-orphaned children between the ages of 5 to 18, providing them not just food and shelter, but the emotional support, education, and values they need to build a life of purpose.

That’s why we’ve adopted 3 government schools in underserved areas, stepping in where resources fall short. These schools were struggling — with broken benches, absent supplies, and forgotten children.

Who We Are & Why It Matters

At Balyam Children Home, we don’t just provide shelter we rebuild lives. Founded in 2015 with a handful of orphaned children, our journey began with a simple belief: that no child should feel forgotten. Over the years, we’ve grown into a safe, nurturing home for over 44 children, where love is constant, meals are shared with dignity, and every child is guided toward a brighter future. Backed by everyday citizens, not corporations, our work is rooted in humanity not hierarchy. Whether it’s education, food, or emotional support, we walk with each child like family, from crisis to confidence.

Responsibility we carry with pride

Adopting Schools. Restoring Futures.

Balyam has proudly adopted three government schools in underprivileged areas where children were once attending class without books, uniforms, or basic supplies. Through continued support and involvement, we now provide these students with school bags, stationery, uniforms, shoes, hygiene kits, and access to regular health checkups. We also organize cultural activities and educational competitions to keep their learning journey vibrant. Our commitment doesn’t end with donations — we stay connected, working closely with teachers and families to ensure every child feels supported, seen, and encouraged to stay in school. For us, school adoption isn’t charity — it’s a long-term promise to give children the future they deserve.

Adopting Schools, Restoring Hope

When education is broken, we don't look away

Balyam has adopted three government schools that were once overlooked and under-resourced. In these classrooms, we now provide essentials like uniforms, school bags, hygiene kits, and regular health checkups. We support teachers, celebrate learning days, and ensure every child stays connected to their dreams. These aren’t just schools — they’re our extended family. Because true adoption means walking with them, year after year, until progress becomes permanent. it’s a long-term promise to give children the future they deserve.

Where Classrooms Find Care

We don’t just support schools we stand by their students.

In three government schools that once struggled with neglect, Balyam has stepped in as a silent partner in progress. From uniforms to notebooks, hygiene kits to health camps we’re helping transform these schools into safe, supportive spaces where children feel seen and encouraged. This isn’t a project. It’s a promise to walk alongside every child, every teacher, every challenge, until learning feels like a right, not a privilege. they’re our extended family.

Hunger Doesn’t Wait. Neither Do We.

When children sleep hungry, society is starving too.

At Balyam, we believe no child should ever have to sleep hungry — not under our watch, not in our community. Every week, we prepare and distribute freshly cooked meals, dry ration kits, and essential groceries to families living in extreme poverty, widowed women, abandoned seniors, and slum children. These are not mass drives for publicity — they are quiet acts of dignity. Because hunger doesn’t ask for your background, and compassion doesn’t ask for a reason. We show up with food, because that’s where healing begins.
